The Parallel House is a residential construction located on the Island of Kea, in Tzia, which is found in Greece. At 140 m2, this unique residence is amazingly streamlined and well laid out while still being nestled into the hillside of the surrounding countryside.
Overlooking the beautiful Aegean Sea, the linear layout makes it almost feel like part of the lay of the land. Both indoor and outdoor space seems to be linked together as you stroll through. The front-facing windows reach from ceiling to floor, providing not only an amazing vista view, but tons of natural light into the home as well.
Polished concrete floors pair very well with the handsomely designed, warm wood pieces, with everything being brought together by board-formed concrete designs which are open and inviting.
With experience and influences from London, Zurich, and New York City, E-R-A has been creating spaces like the Parallel House since 1982.
