Built with 1080p, 3D sensors, an RGB camera, speaker, night vision properties, alarm siren and microphone, this camera can do it all. The only downsides to Lighthouse, are that it cannot rotate mechanically and it does not have a zoom function. On the hand, Lighthouse will provide you with high definition recorded 24 hour footage, with a 30 day backlog for those who are subscribed to the company’s cloud service for $10.
Lighthouse’s is accessible through the Lighthouse mobile app. Through this app, you’ll be able to control and manage the camera from afar; setting up motion detection and unrecognized face notifications that will send you pings if ever an unfamiliar face is detected. The Lighthouse also includes a two-way speaker that can be used to communicate with people in your home (like guests, friends, or family). Trusted individuals are also able to create an additional profile on the Lighthouse app, giving them additional control and direct video backup access in case it is needed.
Lighthouse features a natural language component which allows you to ask for specific activities or tasks. For example, you’ll be able to ask for footage between certain times, or whether there was an unfamiliar face without the presence of a primary user.
The Lighthouse camera is ideal for those who want to keep an eye out for elderly parents, have children, or for those who rely on various daily or weekly tasks done by family, babysitters, housekeepers, dog walkers or friends.
