However, Vans has absolutely nailed it. By using innovative construction methods, they have improved comfort and increased flexibility, all whilst reducing the overall weight of the shoe. Comfort has been maximized with added heel cushioning and UltraCush Lite sockliners, which combined, give the wearer the ability to keep the shoe on for longer, without the feeling of discomfort.
The shoe features quilted textile uppers, which give a unique spin on the classic aesthetic of the original. Vans truly mastered the art of creating a sequel by improving on an already established franchise whilst remaining true to the original elements that made it so popular in the first place.
