Finally happy with the pattern, the release of this boot was met with an influx of praise on social media and other outlets and it’s clear to see why; The Irwin Boot has a stunning design that can be worn casually with jeans or matched with a fine suit. With either selection, compliments will be rolling in for the shoe choice.
As seen with previous designs, Taft has once again elected to make this shoe using Goodyear welt construction. This means longevity, durability and water resistance are high on the priority list. Combined with this is a Dainite rubber sole, which is the most renowned sole for Goodyear construction. The sole is comfortable and gives yet another layer of water resistance to your boot. Taft clothing is well aware that the best shoes in the world employ Dainite for their soles, so it was a simple decision to include this for the Irwin Boot.
The unique designs, courtesy of handmade completion, are evident all over this boot. Painted by hand, the finish is excellent and evokes the bold design choices of the company. This is complimented by patterns which are hand cut and whilst this is a longer process than using molds, it gives greater quality control over the best sections to use.
