Australia’s Gold Coast remains one of the most sought-after stretches of beachfront land on the continent – an attribute which raises the standard (and price-tag) of each new dwelling as they continue to appear and increase in sophistication along the coast. Justin Humphrey Architect (JHA) took this standard of construction to another level with the design of The Cove House. It features a tapered roofline with stained timber ceilings, subtropical characteristics like open-ended living-areas, and load-bearing yet stylish concrete walls which ground the house from it’s idealistic designer-heights back into the earth.
Several goals to decrease the amount of segregation, promoting integration and natural living are very much achieved in this state-of-the-art home, creating a truly unique and impressive design.
