The Nubia Alpha Wearable Smartphone has created a watch which successfully blurs the lines between smartphone and watch with a flexible OLED screen. A 4-inch screen boasts a 5MP camera and 960 x 192 display, all secured safely in a metal band that snaps around your wrist.
Somehow, 8 GB of storage fits in here, made possible by the Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor and 500 mAh battery. It also includes a built-in heart rate monitor, and runs a customized version of the Android system which allows you to engage with everything from phone calls, movie streaming, text and app engagement all within the tiny body of the device. It launches later this year with a Bluetooth version as well as a standalone eSIM version (available in both black and gold), and we feel it really is the start of a new all-inclusive wearable device trend.
