Crafted on top of one of the most popular ‘blank slate’ bikes out there, the Scout is a custom bike with a body that was built by Industrial Moto with the intent to bring to life what the company thought this bike could be with just a little bit of TLC. The Scout by began as a 1983 Yamaha XV750 Virago and was crafted with the desire to add features of what the company loved about the International Scout four by fours that were so well loved in the 1970s.
This motorcycle by Industrial Moto was given a more rustic paint job than it started out with to begin the look. After that, the Scout was given a number of handmade parts. Among those parts, there are foot pegs, foot controls, custom handlebars, and finally, a hand-milled triple tree that is finished off with an embedded Motogadget speedometer/tachometer. Alongside that, the Yamaha Virago 750 Scout is filled with a suspension that has been modded using a GSX-R mono shock, a totally rebuilt motor and chassis, rebuilt forks, a saddle with black tweed fabric upholstery, a new subframe and a brand new electrical unit. The electrical unit is powered by the m.unit blue program from Motogadget which lets the rider’s phone start up the car.
