Whether you’re into motorcycles for racing, casual everyday use, enduro or even customization and modeling, you’re sure to have heard of Triumph’s incredible brand of high-quality vehicles. Their Thruxton model has been recreated and reissued with a variety of updates and reimaginings over the years, and is well-known to motorcycle enthusiasts of all backgrounds. That’s why we’re so excited to see the official launch of the stunning new 2019 Thruxton TFC edition this year – trust us, you don’t want to miss this one.
Official upgrades and changes to aesthetic and performance elements of the original model include suspension and brake tweaks, a new exhaust system, a 10-horsepower increase in velocity over the original model, fully adjustable Ohlins suspension system, and even an external paint job. This means the TFC will sit pretty with a horsepower of up to 107 overall, with a lighter carbon-fiber body and rear mudguard contributing to a significant reduction in the weight of the bike (almost 11 pounds).
A deciding factor for anyone considering investing in a Triumph is that only 750 of these special edition Thruxton TFC models will be manufactured. Out of those 750, only 200 are set to grace American soil, increasingly the exclusivity and boosting intrigue in the iconic brand’s selective new production outlines.
