The KNC is the very first car in the world to be completely finished in Koenigsegg Naked Carbon. There is no varnish, no lacquer, nor any other type of coating used atop the carbon. In fact, even the thin epoxy layer, which is normally found covering a high-end cured carbon is stripped away by careful hand polishing. The process is intricately sensitive, as one single extra stroke could ruin the beautiful weave structure beneath the layer of epoxy.
What you get with the finished product is a brand new look in carbon fiber. The feel is like no other as well, with the body being completely cold to the touch, thanks to nothing but pure carbon. The sheen offers a metal graphite look.
This new look, which is a world first when it comes to Koenigsegg specifications, was ordered by the Swiss Koenigsegg dealer named Carage. They will host their Grand Opening in March 2019, immediately following the Geneva Motor Show.
