The first road legal McLaren was the M6GT. It was modeled off the Can-Am winning M6 and the whole design process was supervised by the man himself; Bruce McLaren. Powering this car is a five liter Chevrolet V8, which is topped with Weber carburetors.
What makes this car so special is that in total, only three M6GT’s were built. Two of which were converted M6 racers and the other was built from scratch. Mr. McLaren drove one as his road car, however production soon stopped after his tragic death in 1970.
This particular car was restored in 1996 and has been on display in the showroom of McLaren Newport Beach in California for plenty to gaze upon and drool at the idea of owning.
Therefore, now is the perfect opportunity to claim a piece of racing history and have a truly unique car that will set your senses alight and of course, turn heads. Be prepared for the ultimate thrill ride as you sit behind the wheel of an iconic piece of machinery that very few in the world can say they have had the joy to experience first-hand.
